Who we are

  • Determinant Labs Partners (“Determinant,” “we,” “us”) is an affiliate and partnership platform for Shopify brands operated by Determinant Labs. This policy explains how we handle information when you use partners.determinant-labs.com and related services.

Information we collect

  • Account data you provide (name, email, company, password credentials via our auth provider).
  • Store and program data needed to run affiliate programs (Shopify shop domain, orders, discounts, commissions, payouts).
  • Partner application and portal activity (referral links, codes, conversions).
  • Contact-form messages and support correspondence.
  • Technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and approximate timestamps for security and reliability.

How we use information

  • To provide attribution, commissions, payouts, and dashboards for brands and partners.
  • To authenticate users, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.
  • To respond to inquiries and send transactional email (account, approvals, payouts).
  • To improve the product and meet legal or Shopify platform obligations.

Sharing

  • We use processors that help us run the product (for example hosting, database, email, and payment providers). They only receive what they need to perform those services.
  • Brand customers control their own affiliate programs; partner data for a program is visible to that brand as part of the product.
  • We do not sell personal information.

Retention & security

  • We retain account and transaction records for as long as needed to operate the service, meet tax/accounting needs, and resolve disputes, then delete or anonymize when no longer required.
  • We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege credentials). No method of transmission is 100% secure.

Your choices

  • You can update profile details in the portal or ask us to correct inaccurate account information.
  • You may request deletion of your account subject to legal retention requirements and outstanding financial records.
  • Marketing email is optional; transactional email required to run the service cannot be disabled while your account is active.
